100 Club Rules

 

  1. The club shall be known as the Deacons Court 100 Club.

  2. The object of the club shall be to raise money for the Court of the Deacons of the Ancient and Royal Burgh of Linlithgow, referred to as ‘Deacons Court’, and is a registered charity SC044893.

  3. The club shall be registered with West Lothian Council as a small lottery under the Gambling Act 2005.

  4. Membership of the club is open to all members of the Deacons Court and their friends and acquaintances and is not restricted to the number of members.

  5. The club shall be run by a Promoter who may co-opt as many members as are required to assist in the organisation of the club.

  6. Members shall be required to pay a membership fee of £10 per year, or such pro rata sum for a part year, which must be paid on joining. You will be allocated a number in the club , which you will retain for the year of subscription. You will also receive a copy of these rules.

  7. All moneys received will be banked by the Treasurer of the Deacons Court in the Court accounts.

  8. One half of the money raised in the year shall be given to the Deacons Court and the other half shall be distributed as prize money.

  9. The prize money will be allocated monthly as £100; £40 and £20. Should the club be either under or over subscribed the prize money will be revised by the promoter.

  10. The monthly draw shall take place during the monthly meetings of the Deacons Court, or at such time and place as advised by the Promoter. 10 monthly draws will take place between March and December.

  11. All prize money shall be paid to winners by cheque.

  12. Results of the prize draws shall be recorded in the minutes of the monthly meetings of the Deacons Court and published on the Deacons Court social media platforms and winners will be notified.

100 Club

 

The Deacons Court 100 Club is a prize draw in which those who enter will be allocated a "lucky number". This will be entered into 10 monthly draws per year. The annual cost is £10. The draw is made on the first Tuesday of each month (March-December) at the Deacons Cort meetings.

First prize for the draw is £100, with £40 for second place and £20 for third. Each month the winners will be contacted and announced on the Deacons Court Facebook and Instagram pages.
